The Center of the "RACmospere".....The Rutgers University Pep Band!!!!

The Rutgers University Pep Band plays at all home Rutgers men's and women's basketball games and at selected tournaments. This ensemble, known for their outstanding sound and musicality, entertains all, game in and game out and has earned the reputation as one of the best pep bands in the land! In addition to music, the band leads the student section in chants and cheers. The thunderous roar of Rutgers fans' voices combined with the awesome power of the Band make the RAC one of the toughest arenas in the nation to play college basketball. Visiting coaches and fans agree, the Rutgers Pep Band gives its teams a decided home court advantage. So, whether its dancing to No Time or playing You Can Call Me Al, the fun and energy never stop!

Although our main focus is basketball, the popularity of the band is immense. The Band is invited to many other university functions such as football and basketball banquets, The Dance Marathon, Freshman Orientation, Alumni Events and much more!!!! The Band also supports many other Scarlet Knight teams by playing at selected Soccer and Lacrosse Games, and the occasional Swim or Wrestling meet.
